Corporate wellness · Onsite coaching

Wellness coaching that works inside your company, not alongside it.

Optilab Wellness puts a coach onsite at tech and software companies on a fixed weekly schedule. We do 1:1 coaching, group movement sessions, and nutrition and training plans, all delivered in your office and fitted to how your team actually works.

§01The problem

The problem we're built for

Most of your people sit at a desk most of the day. Many aren't doing any regular physical activity, and a gym stipend doesn't change that. Access isn't the issue. Someone has to show up, learn the team, and make the next step obvious.

§02Why Optilab

What makes it different

01Onsite, not on an app.
Coaching happens in your office, on set days, during the workday.
02Part of the culture.
We build working relationships with individuals and with teams. It doesn't work like a login to a benefits portal.
03One program.
Coaching, group sessions, nutrition and training plans, and new-hire onboarding run as one engagement with one point of contact.
04Reported back in writing.
Every engagement includes quarterly reports and employee surveys. They exist so the people who approved the program can see what it did and what the team thinks of it, not hear it secondhand.
§03The cost, in plain numbers

What poor health costs your team, now and as it grows.

Enter your headcount and average salary to see a research-based range for health-related lost productivity: time lost to absence, plus reduced performance at work.

$

Estimated annual cost

Health-related lost productivity$300,000 – $600,000
Per employee$3,000 – $6,000

This is today's estimate: health costs tend to rise as a team ages, and in employer data they have also risen as employees' health risks increased.1

Notes

  1. 1.Estimates are illustrative, not a prediction for your company. Absence is based on US Bureau of Labor Statistics data (2025: full-time workers lose about 1% of work hours to their own illness or injury). Presenteeism, meaning reduced performance while at work, is estimated at 1-3% of payroll based on peer-reviewed studies (Stewart et al., JOEM 2003; Goetzel et al., JOEM 2004). Healthcare figures apply only to self-funded or level-funded plans and use CDC-led research on physical inactivity (Carlson et al., Prog Cardiovasc Dis 2015), adjusted to 2025 dollars. These figures reflect all health-related causes, not physical inactivity alone. Optilab does not claim its program will recover any specific amount.
  2. 2.Average healthcare spending is about 2.6x higher at ages 55-64 than at 19-34 (KFF analysis of AHRQ MEPS 2021). Full-time workers aged 55+ lose a larger share of work hours to their own illness or injury than workers aged 25-54 (BLS CPS 2025). In employer data, medical costs rose as the number of health risks increased (Edington, Am J Health Promot 2001; observational). This is not a projection for your company.
Plate 01Onsite

Coaching runs in the client's own space — meeting rooms, quiet corners, the desks people already work at. The setting is the company's, not a clinic's.

Plate 02Coverage

Optilab works with technology and software companies across Orange County and the wider LA area. Engagements are sized to headcount and hiring pace, not sold off a fixed menu.
